Intimation were asked to increase awareness of the Highland Military Tattoo brand and their product nationally and globally.

The Highland Military Tattoo has a rich and long history of over 60 years in the Inverness area. We created a flexible approach to the Tattoo's marketing plan, identifying the key targets in their promotional audience and ensuring that the marketing and PR was tailored specifically to highlighted target groups. This helped 2017 become the most success event in the Tattoo's history.

As part of the project, Intimation was asked to re-brand the Highland Military Tattoo. This included a new logo design and visual identity.

Due to the close ties of the Tattoo with Fort George, we proposed utilising the unique shape of the Fort within the logo, simplifying the fonts and the authority of the font sizes within the wording to maximise the impact of the logo.

Connecting People.

Intimation began the promotional campaign by preparing travel and trade packs for operators around the UK. These included designing E-flyers, brochures and trade packs. We then hosted a dedicated Travel & Trade event in Edinburgh to promote the event to travel companies and prospective suppliers and traders.

Intimation next undertook work on a variety of promotional materials such as posters, adverts, tickets, e-flyers, web banners, signage, leaflets and much more.

Effective advertising.

In the months leading up to the Tattoo, Intimation teamed up with Sky Adsmart to deliver a targeted advertising campaign throughout Scotland promoting the Tattoo to an audience of over 260,000.
