Web, Design and Marketing Agency, Intimation Creative, held an extremely successful and well-attended Golf Day at Eyemouth Golf Club Last Wednesday.
Around forty golfers made the journey to Eyemouth, comprising of local and national clients of the two-base Agency and the associated PR arm; Rubber Lips PR. The golfers were presented with the challenge of an Eyemouth course in great condition, plus strong Summer sunshine and even stronger winds!
Some eye-catching prizes were on-hand, notably the chance to win a brand new Harley-Davidson, “simply” by shooting a hole-in-one on the par 3 12th. Rather unsurprisingly, (given the windy conditions and pressure of a huge prize), the pin was left untroubled. That ‘perfect shot’ on the other par 3’s, (with chances to win golf breaks for four in both the Algarve and the Forest of Arden) also proved illusive. There were however some breathtaking moments, with golf balls rolling agonisingly close to the pin!
Steve Sadler, Managing Director of Intimation was delighted to see his dream of a Golf Day come to fruition; “The atmosphere was superb. Friends, family, and clients new and old travelled from far and wide. Whilst we tried to organize a business event, I have always been keen to ensure that the event was relaxed and enjoyable. I am delighted that the sun was out, and that those new to the game enjoyed the challenge of Eyemouth Golf Club as much as the single-figure-handicappers. We are now looking forward with anticipation to next year’s golf day!”
Attendees ranging from corporate heads to managers of wildlife trusts illustrate the wide-ranging work carried out by the Intimation Creative and Rubber Lips team.
