One of our most valued clients is Barlow Technology. With 40 years experience in the steel industry, container terminals, and other associated industries, Barlow Technology has well and truly cemented its place in the market. Their product range includes; forged steel wheels, electric motor drives, drive couplings, encoders & tachos and braking systems.
Barlow Technology’s Sales Director, Richard Barlow, approached Intimation Creative and Rubber Lips PR seeking a re-brand, new brochure and website build in order to optimise the company’s image and web presence. Responsible for designing Barlow Technology’s new website and brochure was Intimation Director and Senior Designer Andy, who worked closely with Richard to determine exactly how the re-brand should look. Designs were then approved from a choice of concepts, allowing work to progress on the new website.
The project was briefed in and handed over to our web developer Paul in the Dunbar studio. Paul created a visually impactful and informative website using a content management system, bringing the branding to life producing an aesthetically pleasing, mobile optimised, user-friendly platform, with integrated Social Media icons and Twitter feed for search engine optimisation. This enabled potential customers visiting the site to check out Barlow Technology’s daily news, giving them the latest updates and providing an additional means to communicate directly with their staff.
The Rubber Lips PR team then took up the reigns, working closely with Barlow Technology and the Intimation Design team to bring the combined benefit of PR, digital marketing and design. Rubber Lips PR was requested to manage Barlow Technology’s social media accounts in order to develop a unique and structured campaign, aimed at delivering tailored messages to identified target audiences, offering Barlow Technology maximum online exposure. Rubber Lips currently executes these creative procedures on several of Barlow Technology’s Social Media accounts, including; LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook. In addition, Rubber Lips writes monthly content in the form of blogs and news stories for the Barlow Technology website, aimed at providing extra content and improved SEO.
Since the initial design and build, Intimation and Rubber Lips have continued to offer support to Barlow Technology, keeping abreast of their marketing and business activity and liaising closely with their team to ensure all opportunities are maximized and news broadcast. Working with Barlow Technology has been a team effort, sharing close liaison with the client and between the team members at Intimation and Rubber Lips.
